Brass processing and non-ferrous metals
Brass processing is at the core of our production process. In addition to this primary material, we work with other non-ferrous metals, selected according to the technical and regulatory requirements of different industrial sectors.
Brass, the core of our production
Brass, an alloy of copper and zinc, combines machinability, strength and dimensional accuracy. It is the ideal material for hot forging complex components, thanks to its stability and consistency in tolerances.
We process different brass alloys, selected according to the technical drawing and sector-specific requirements.
During the co-engineering phase, we support customers in material selection and in defining process parameters to optimize yield, lead times and the quality of the finished component.
Low-lead alloys
We process low-lead alloys, more commonly referred to as lead-free alloys, to support customers operating in regulated sectors.
We select materials compliant with international standards and with the regulations applicable to the specific context, such as use in systems in contact with drinking water. Our expertise in alloy selection and processing enables us to supply safe, stable and reliable components, identifying the most suitable solution based on application requirements and regulatory constraints.
Other materials
In addition to brass, we process other non-ferrous metals, including copper, aluminum and bronze. The different mechanical and metallurgical properties of each material guide the optimization of forging and machining processes to achieve stable, high-performance components.
Copper
A pure material, valued for its high conductivity and corrosion resistance. Used for electrical and conductive components requiring precision and long-term stability.
Aluminum
Lightweight and high-performing, it ensures dimensional consistency and component reliability. It is used in the automotive and aerospace sectors, where reduced weight and high performance are required.
Bronze
Used for applications requiring strength and durability under demanding conditions.
We process special alloys, such as aluminum bronze, which require specific expertise and strict process control.
Raw material traceability and control
"Raw material monitoring is continuous throughout the entire production process, ensuring control, consistency and verifiability of the materials used.
Traceability is integrated with our certified quality control system, ensuring that each component meets the technical and regulatory requirements defined by the customer. This is a fundamental aspect for regulated and high-criticality sectors, where material documentation and full traceability are essential conditions for supplier qualification."
